Meet our Team

Jarron

Pharmacist/Owner

Jarron is a graduate of the University of Saskatchewan College of Pharmacy & Nutrition. He opened up the Northgate Medicine Shoppe Pharmacy in 2010. He wanted to provide personalized service where he knew patients by their names and create a unique pharmacy experience. His yearning to offer personalized service led him to focus on becoming a full service compounding pharmacy and compounding consultant with a focus on pain management and hormone restoration therapy for men and women. He has spoken on various topics on pharmacy compounding throughout the country and awarded the 2019 PCCA Compounding Pharmacist of the Year. He enjoys being a dad to two amazing children as well as a pug named Lulu Popsicle.

Adrian

Pharmacist

Adrian graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy in 2012. He has completed his Comprehensive Compounding Course (C3) through PCCA in Houston, TX. His interest lies in veterinary compounding where he can improve the lives of various animals through compounding medications to dosage forms that are best suited to that individual animal. Adrian has been a part of the Northgate Medicine Shoppe Pharmacy family since 2015, where he has expanded his knowledge with training in sterile medication preparation and veterinary medications.

Kristin

Pharmacist

Kristin graduated from the U of S with a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy in 2006. She has been a pharmacist at The Northgate Medicine Shoppe since 2013. Kristin is certified to administer injections and prescribe for minor ailments. Kristin has special interests in addiction medicine, travel health and medication assessments for seniors. Kristin is a certified Venosan and Sigvaris compression stocking fitter.

Kristin enjoys yoga, volleyball, skiing and spending time with her two children.

Lisa

Pharmacist

Lisa joined the Northgate Medicine Shoppe family in 2020. Lisa graduated from the U of S with a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy in 2009. She recently returned to work after being home with her children since 2019.

She and her family moved to Regina in 2019 from Victoria, BC, where Lisa was a Clinical Pharmacist specializing in senior care at long term care homes. She alsoloves working in a compounding pharmacy as she loves creating solutions to problems.

“We work with a lot of patients with unique needs that traditional pharmacy can’t help with. Compounding provides them with additional treatment options to help with their health-related issues. I’ve been employed here since 2020 and it’s the BEST DECISION I have made.”

She loves the small town feel of independent pharmacy. Lisa knows her patients on an individual basis and feels like they are family when they walk through the doors.

“The connection that we make with our patients is really rewarding. They are not
just patients, I consider them family.”

When not working hard and providing for the local community, Lisa loves spending time with her kids and walking her dogs. Make sure you say hello to Lisa the next time you stop by!

Kayla

Registered Pharmacy Technician

Kayla has been in the pharmacy field since 2007. She completed her registered pharmacy technician course in 2018. Kayla has been a part of the team at The Northgate Medicine Shoppe Pharmacy & Compounding Centre since 2012.

Kayla is a certified Venosan and Sigvaris compression stocking fitter.

She has completed her Primary Compounding Training through the Professional Compounding Centers of America (PCCA). Kayla has a strong interest in Veterinary Compounding as she has two pets, a Sphynx Ziggy and a Weimaraner Molly.

Kayla has a passion for pediatric compounding as she is a mother of two children.

Chelsey

Registered Pharmacy Technician

Chelsey graduated from the accredited Sask PolyTechnic (formerly SIAST) Pharmacy Technician program in 2010. After graduating, she began working as a pharmacy technician at a compounding pharmacy in Saskatoon where she gained over 5 years of compounding experience before moving to Regina to join the Northgate Medicine Shoppe team in 2016. In that time, she also completed the education, training and qualifications to become a licensed Pharmacy Technician in the province of Saskatchewan.

Chelsey has completed the Comprehensive Compounding Course (C3) and Aseptic Technique Compounding Course offered through PCCA. She was awarded PCCA’s Pharmacy Technician of the Month in October 2016. She continues to further educate herself in all aspects of compounding via seminars and online education. She has attended seminars on veterinary compounding, dermatology, pain and wound care, and bio-identical hormone replacement therapy.

Chelsey enjoys creating troche, capsule, topical and many other diverse dosage formulations in the compounding lab.

Katelyn

Certified Pharmacy Technician

Katelyn has been in the pharmacy field since 2017. She completed the registered pharmacy technician course at Saskatchewan Polytechnic in 2020. Since then she has completed the Comprehensive Compounding Course (C3) and Sterility Assurance Training Course with PCCA. She is also a certified Sigvaris compression stocking fitter.

Katelyn moved to Regina from Saskatoon in July of 2022 to join our team at the Northgate Medicine Shoppe.

Katelyn enjoys Barre classes, travelling, and spending time with friends and family.

Sara

Pharmacy Assistant

Sara graduated with a diploma in Human Resources from SIAST in 2012 and worked as an HR Generalist before changing career paths and finding her way into pharmacy. Sara has been working as a part of the team at The Northgate Medicine Shoppe Pharmacy & Compounding Centre since 2015.

Having worked in many customer focused roles, customer service and satisfaction has been one of her top priorities. Sara has a passion for helping people and strives to continuously learn the best ways to serve everyone’s needs.

Sara loves animals, especially her cat Shadow, and going to spin classes.
